In the use of electroless nickel solution, some customers will require the workpiece to have high hardness and also have high corrosion resistance, how to operate?

1. Electroless nickel is the lower the phosphorus content, the higher the hardness, so the phosphorus electroless nickel is better than high phosphorus electroless nickel. And corrosion resistance is high phosphorus electroless nickel is better than medium phosphorus electroless nickel. To have excellent corrosion resistance and hardness at the same time, you can choose medium phosphorus electroless nickel, medium phosphorus electroless nickel after heat treatment, hardness and high phosphorus electroless nickel is not much difference.

2. Pre-treatment will affect the corrosion resistance of the plated layer, the surface of the workpiece in the pre-treatment should be treated cleanly, the electroless nickel layer obtained to have excellent corrosion resistance.

3. Electroless nickel potion pH and temperature maintenance is very important, in the operation process should be in accordance with the instructions for strict control, and to avoid contamination of impurities, in order to ensure that the chemical nickel layer has good performance.
